At the first meeting of the new Board on October 16, 2017 John Harker was elected President, Melanie Comstock Vice President, and Graham Eisenhauer Secretary/Treasurer. Scott Burke, currently serving as the Lunenburg Academy Development Coordinator on behalf of the Town of Lunenburg, has been engaged by the Foundation as its Interim Executive Director. Over the next six months the Board and Scott will be working through this important transition.
There are many exciting ongoing developments at the Academy. The building is undergoing a complete exterior restoration and three sides of the building are covered in scaffolding. At the same time interior renovations for the future home of the Lunenburg Library on the first floor are nearing completion. The library is expected to open in late spring 2018.
Stay tuned for future updates!
