
2017 is the year the library moves up to the HILL
Everyone is anxiously awaiting the day the front doors of the Academy open to welcome the public to the new digs of the Lunenburg branch of the South Shore Regional Libraries. Additional supporting footings, necessary to meet specifications to carry the load of heavy books, are almost complete. Ekistics Planning and Design team will soon be on site creating our modern but tastefully historic library.

The repurposed, iconic Lunenburg Academy, a national historic site and provincial property has undergone extensive renovations and houses a diverse set of tenants.
Visible for miles around, it is an outstanding landmark and focal point for the Town of Lunenburg and the South Shore, encouraging local economic development and tourism.
There is currently one space available on the first floor for lease- Room 101. Rent includes electricity, heat, parking, snow removal, and common area janitorial services.
